CircuitCity has finally officially filed for bankruptcy.  It's important not to purchase any CircuitCity-backed warranty as they may not be able to honor it.  If you buy anything at CircuitCity with a rebate, make sure that it's still a good deal whether the rebate comes or not.

We also want to note that closeout sales are not necessarily cheaper as we have received reports that some of the sales at stores shutting down are actually more expensive than prices on its national website.
